Discernment is the process of discovering God's plan for our lives. It involves placing God at the center of the decision-making process, and is characterized by prayer, contemplation, scripture reading, and reception of the sacraments. Discernment often involves a mentor and spiritual direction.

We invite you to walk with us in discernment as God calls you to use your gifts and talents for the good of others and to recognize your “vocation.”

A vocation is a gift from God. It is a deep call from the heart. Be attentive to that call. Contact vocations@felicianspa.org

We are all called by Baptism to be holy. Blessed Mary Angela lived God's love and God's will as her way to holiness. She combined contemplative prayer life with direct service to others. Felician Franciscan discernment emphasizes the Goodness of God in all people and in all of creation. Bringing prayer and action into your life can help you in the discernment process.
