In a very real sense, “who we are” as Felician Sisters is not determined by “what we do,” but by a vision and commitment realized in our everyday activities.

We are popularly called “Felician” because of our association with Saint Felix of Cantalice, a Franciscan Capuchin of the 16th century.

As Felician Sisters, we take public vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience, and follow the Franciscan way of life, commit to Franciscan simplicity, and adopt the Franciscan preference for the poor. We serve where we are needed, but also spend much of our time in common prayer, individual meditation, and Eucharistic adoration.

As a community, we provide support for each other, gaining strength through each other's presence, making it possible to accomplish much more as a group than might be possible as individuals. This community provides a framework for our personal salvation journey—and wonderful companions to support each other along the way.
