Franciscan spirit and Felician charism are seen in the seven core values for ministry the Felician Sisters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Province have chosen.

Eucharist is the heart of Felician values, characterized by sacramental celebration, personal and communal adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and gratefully relating to all persons as Jesus Himself.

Joy is both Franciscan and Scriptural in nature, and is observable in practice.

Stewardship is rooted in the Franciscan value of care for all creation.

Respect for all the people of God, leads to treating all as children of God.

Service, with a preference for the poor, is a wholehearted commitment inspired by the example of Blessed Mary Angela.

Justice, rather than sympathy, is the basis for serving the poor.

Compassion grows out of the love for God and all humankind.

Our history stretches back almost two centuries to our founder, Blessed Mary Angela, and to the tradition of service in our ministries inspired by Saint Francis of Assisi.

Today, more than 100 Felician Sisters from Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Province join with nearly 2000 others worldwide in answering God's call to service and prayer, and we ask that you let us know how our prayers can help you.

In both service and prayer, those of us at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Province look ahead to helping "create the future" of our congregation in new ways, with new members and new support.
