Members of OLSH-ACT who seek to create a culture of vocations at the high school offer their advice to teens considering religious life or priesthood:
“Talk with an adult that you trust or a priest or sister at your parish about pursuing this vocation.” Sara Smith
“Take time out for daily prayer time in which you could read the Bible and pray for guidance.” Joe Farren
“Follow your heart and open up to God.” Alex Colteryahn
“Don’t worry about what others say and keep pursuing your vocation.” Tom Waruszewski
“Be open to the call and never turn it down.” Joey Lack Jr.
“Don’t be afraid and pray.” Bobby Glover
“Follow your heart because God will never lead you down the wrong direction.” Kayla Gionti
“Pray about it and give it a chance. Don’t let peer pressure influence your decision.” Sara Ciesielski
“Continue to pray and discern your vocation. The only way you’ll know if it right for you is to try it out by joining a seminary or a convent.” Bob Waruszewski
“Talk it over with someone in religious life or priesthood to get a better feeling about what they do on a day-to-day basis.” Al Lardin
